Job Description

Doctor Shrimp Blue Aqua India Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of Blue Aqua International (Singapore), is seeking dynamic and result-oriented Area Sales Managers to drive sales and business development across key aquaculture markets in Andhra Pradesh.


Location

Andhra Pradesh – West Godavari, East Godavari, Nellore, Kakinada


Responsibilities

  • Identify and prioritize key accounts (farmers and dealers) within the assigned territory.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with shrimp farmers and aquaculture input partners.
  • Drive new customer acquisition and expand business with existing clients.
  • Conduct regular market analysis and gather competitor intelligence.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of local farmer networks and industry dynamics.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct farmer meetings, product demonstrations, and training programs.
  • Coordinate with the technical team for farmer support and product education.
  • Submit accurate and timely field reports, expense claims, and administrative documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fisheries, Aquaculture, Biology, Agriculture, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience, preferably in the aquaculture sector.
  • Proven experience in shrimp farming, aquaculture inputs, feed, or related industries.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Achievement of quarterly and annual sales revenue targets.
  • Number of new customer accounts acquired.
  • Increase in market share within the assigned territory.
  • Customer retention and repeat business rates.
  • Accuracy of sales forecasting and reporting.
  • Territory coverage and penetration of key accounts.
  • Sales contribution by product category.
  • Timely and accurate submission of sales and field reports.
  • Customer satisfaction and feedback scores.
